  • Bunkerhill Blend (Cow Manure)

    Item #: SOILCOW

Course cow manure. 4 months to 1 year old. It’s unscreened and can have some hay or dirt in it. It comes from grass fed beef cattle. It needs to be mixed with soil. It’s meant to be additional nutrients to gardens. We recommend mixing 30%- 50% with field loam to get a good garden material base. It is not certified organic, but it comes from our own farm.

  • Peatmoss Loose

    Item #: SOILPEATMOSS

Loose peat moss. It’s sold by the yard. It’s all natural. PEATMOSS has no nutrient value. It’s good for loosening up dense planting soil. It helps hold water in the ground. It’s an additive with other products like field loam or older gardens.

  • Screened Field Loam

    Item #: SOILLOAM

Rototilled field loam, screened 1″ minus. Nothing added. It’s all natural; therefore it does need nutrients or fertilizers added if you want plants to grow quick. It has a tendency to pack quickly. It’s a great base for a vegetable garden.

  • Screened Sand

    Item #: SANDSCR

Screened sand 3/8″ minus. screen sand is a live material which means it does not pack well. It is great for water drainage, septic system sand, and sand boxes. Screened sand is a grey brown multi-color, and it can be used under pools or patio stones.

  • Sandy Fill

    Item #: SANDFILL

Sandy fill is a sand/dirt mix. It packs well (dead sand), and it is used as cheap fill to level lawn areas. Sandy fill is easy to rake level, and it can fill in utility trenches. It does not grow grass, and it can have small rock or clay pieces from time to time. Water does not drain well through it.

  • Certified (MOFGA) Organic Compost

    Item #: SOILOGS

Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Associationâ„¢ certified compost. The best material you can buy for gardens or seed planters. It’s made of all natural composting materials such as manure, leaves, and more.

We Deliver!

Choosing which vehicle to send for delivery also depends on jobsite delivery limitations. In other words, we might have to do more than one trip with a smaller truck if we can't safely deliver with a bigger truck. It all depends on the jobsite location.
