  • Screened Field Loam

    Brown colored soil, mix of field loam,peatmoss and seaweed base, excellent for lawns and garden base soils. good to put in 3″ to 6″ thick when starting new lawn.Customers can custom blend loam with peatmoss other composts to make a custom blend for garden situations. If you need to level area large lawn area, fill in using sandyfill 1st. Much cheaper to level area for big project.

  • Garden Soil Bunkerhill Blend (Cow Manure)

    Item #: SOILCOW

    A rich, dark brown garden soil blend made from cow manure composted 1–2 years, peat moss, mulch fines, and a seaweed base. Sourced from local mid-coast Maine farms, blended and screened for consistent quality. Designed to enrich existing garden soil and excellent for all garden applications. Can be custom blended with peat moss, loam, or other amendments. Well suited for raised garden beds built with 2×8 rough hemlock. Not a certified organic product — but named after the Hunt Family Farm on Bunker Hill Road, where six generations have helped us make it.

  • Growers Mix

    Item #: SOILGROW

    A productive garden blend of seafood compost, peat moss, and mulch fines. Well suited for in-ground gardens and raised beds. Some customers also use it as a lawn top-dressing. Works great in raised beds built with 2×8 rough hemlock.

  • Sandy Fill

    Item #: SANDFILL

    Bank-run sandy fill material for grading and leveling. An unscreened product that may contain a mix of sand and clay, with the occasional rock. Does not drain well on its own. Best used as a cost-effective base layer beneath loam or garden soil where lawns or gardens will be established. Some sorting of rocks or clay clumps may be needed.

  • Peat Moss — Bulk Loose

    Item #: SOILPEATMOSS

    Bulk loose peat moss for soil amendment. Improves moisture retention in dry or sandy soils, helps loosen compacted clay soils for better drainage, and increases overall organic matter content. As it breaks down over time, it contributes nutrients back into the soil.

Choosing which vehicle to send for delivery also depends on jobsite delivery limitations. In other words, we might have to do more than one trip with a smaller truck if we can't safely deliver with a bigger truck. It all depends on the jobsite location.
